Vision Pro users report mysterious cracks in headsets

Several Vision Pro owners are reporting identical, unexplained cracks appearing on the front glass of their headsets. The issue, first noticed by MacRumors, has been reported by five users on the r/VisionPro subreddit, with Engadget's review unit also experiencing the same problem.

Intriguingly, all reported cracks appear as vertical hairline fractures in the same location above the nose bridge. Affected users claim they took no actions that could explain the damage, such as dropping the device or storing it improperly. One user, @dornbirn, describes polishing the glass, attaching the soft cover, and storing it in the case before discovering the crack the next morning. Other users also report storing their headsets in cases or with the soft cover on.
