Apple's App Store celebrates 40 Billion downloads following record December

What did everyone who got a new iPhone and iPad do over the holidays? Download a ton of Apps, 2 Billion to be exact, which pushes to running total to 40,000,000,000 apps downloaded.

Apple said customers have downloaded over 40 billion apps, with nearly 20 billion in 2012 alone. The App Store has over 500 million active accounts and had a record-breaking December with over two billion downloads during the month.

Apple Expo Canada 2010 takes place in Toronto tomorrow

If you are interested in Macs, IPhones or iPads, then this is the one event per year in Canada that you do not want to miss. We were at last year's expo and met a lot of cool Mac people and previewed many great products. With the arrival of the iPad and new iPhone this summer is certain to bring a lot of excitement.
