SaskTel introduces Lüm Mobile, a digital self-serve wireless model

SaskTel

SaskTel has a new digital mobile service that lets you manage your own wireless service online while offering more affordable prices than the full-service model. Lüm Mobile doesn't have any monthly plans or monthly billing dates. Instead, you buy a membership to get access to data that never expires. You don't have to worry about losing unused data every month, and you'll only pay for the data, calls, and text you use. You can buy data any time you need it. But you will need to bring your own device to sign up for the service. You can learn more here.

In March, Samsung announced that it would supply all hardware, software, and associated expertise to help SaskTel's 5G solutions deployment. SaskTel intends to deploy its 5G network on a limited basis by the end of the year, with broader deployment plans for 2022 in Regina and Saskatoon.

Huawei P20 Pro Twilight variant comes to Canada starting Sept. 6th

Twilight is coming. Nope, not the vampire movie. We’re talking about the iridescent, gradient colour of the Huawei P20 series. The Twilight version for the P20 Pro is coming to our shores starting September 6th. It’ll be available through Bell, Rogers, TELUS, and SaskTel. Huawei was able to achieve this interesting shade by applying eight alternating layers of oxides and nitrates on the glass. They made use of five layers of colour coating, one diamond-like carbon layer, and two layers of anti-fingerprint coating. If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on this version, then your wait is almost over.
