#CES2014: Pebble set to announce a steel iteration of its popular smartwach

Almost a year to the date after officially announcing the shipping date of their smartwatch, Pebble is set to announce the latest iteration of their popular device in the steel variety. While the internals will remain the same, Pebble Steel appears to be slimmer, with a modern design that sports slimmer bezels. It’s still not a touchscreen watch, but the e-paper display is now covered with a tougher Gorilla Glass.

LaCie's Fuel hard drive adds 1 terabyte of storage to iPads and iPhones

We can get iPad and iPad mini models with 128GB storage capacities but if that still isn't enough, LaCie's got another solution.  LaCie's Fuel is a go-anywhere wireless hard drive for iPad, iPhone and Mac. Without requiring Internet access, the LaCie Fuel adds 1TB of external storage capacity to compatible mobile devices. Users can store up to 500 movies, 160,000 songs or 190,000 photos, and share them with up to five devices at a time. What’s more, AirPlay compatibility means users can easily stream movies onto the big screen via Apple TV or music to compatible speakers all for an SRT of $199 at Apple Retail Stores.

Roku puts set-top box into the TV with Roku TV at CES 2014

Roku announced Roku TV  a new generation of Smart TVs designed to give consumers a simple entertainment experience in a complex connected world. The company plans to license the new reference design platform and software stack to manufacturers to build and distribute Roku TV models. TCL and Hisense are the first partners and Roku will show their Roku TV models at CES 2014.

Lenovo outs first 4K PC monitors and Android-powered monitors at CES 2014

Lenovo isn't pulling any punches this year at CES. After showing off a bunch of new tablets, convertibles and notebooks, they're now pulling the trigger on some stunning 4K desktop monitors  and other monitors that run Android natively. 

The ThinkVision Pro2840m is a 28-inch  4K professional display and the ThinkVision 28, a smarter display that is not only a ultra-high definition monitor but also is an Android enabled entertainment center. The ThinkVision Pro2840m will be available from April 2014 and is expected to start at $799.
The ThinkVision 28 smart display will be available in selected markets from July 2014 and is expected to start at approximately $1199.
