GitHub has a new mobile app on Android, iOS

GitHub has a new mobile app available for free on both Android and iOS platforms. The Microsoft-owned company's new app is built to help developers manage their projects while they're away from their PCs. Through the app, you can organize tasks, give feedback on any problem, answer comments, as well as review and combine pull requests. The notifications show up in an email inbox-like interface where you can swipe tasks to either save them or mark them as complete. The app will also let you react to comments with emojis.

The one missing feature is that you won't be able to edit code within the app. You can view code, though. The GitHub app first launched in beta in November on iOS. Android got the beta back in January.

Adobe offers students and schools free temporary access to Creative Cloud

With schools being forced to closed down in many parts of the world because of COVID-19 concerns, we're looking for ways that won't further disrupt students' studies. Adobe is hoping to help those studying from home by offering free temporary remote access to Creative Cloud. But there are a few conditions that need to be met.

School IT administrators will need to fill out this application form to request a remote Creative Cloud license. The school will also need to be an existing education customer. The permit will be valid until May 2020. Adobe will verify each request, but if your school is an existing customer, then your institution will qualify for the offer.
