Spotify's new UI test hides repeat button in the menu

Spotify released a new user interface that some users are unhappy with. The new UI hid the "Repeat" and "Go to queue" button into a submenu. And in its place, the sharing button has been given more prominence. With this new look, you can access the feature through the three-dot menu in the upper right-hand corner of the Now Playing screen. Users who use the repeat button aren't happy with the change. When The Verge reached out to the company for comments, Spotify said, "We are always testing new products and features, nothing to share at the moment."

Samsung Galaxy S10 commercial leaks before product is announced

There's very little we don't know about Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S10 smartphones which are slated to be launched or unveiled soon despite various details and renders having been leaked. The latest fracas comes by way of a TV commercial of all things. Someone in Norway thought it would be hilarious to broadcast the entire 30 second advert for the new Samsung products including their new earbuds and Galaxy Gear smartwatches.

The Galaxy S10 will come with a triple-camera array. The ability to charge other devices wirelessly, have an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. Oh, and very tiny puncher-hole front facing cameras to mitigate any need for a notch.

Huawei set to debut P30 series on March 26th

Huawei will not be unveiling its newest flagship at Mobile World Congress next week. Instead, the company will be hosting its event in Paris next month—similar to what Huawei did last year. The P30 will be launched on March 26. The company isn't saying anything beyond revealing the date and venue. But it claims that the "Rules were made to be rewritten." The teaser video on Twitter also shows prominent spots in Paris being dramatically zoomed in on. There have been previous reports that the P30 Pro might have a periscope-like camera with lossless optical zoom. This might allude to that. For now, we're left guessing until the phones' launch.

Netflix cancels Marvel's 'The Punisher' & 'Jessica Jones'

Netflix

With Disney gearing up to launch its own streaming service, it comes as no surprise that Netflix is letting go of the last two Marvel shows in its roster. The streaming service just announced that it is cancelling both The Punisher and Jessica Jones. The Punisher just finished its second season, while Jessica Jones has one more season coming out.

Netflix said in a statement, "Marvel’s ‘The Punisher’ will not return for a third season on Netflix. Showrunner Steve Lightfoot, the terrific crew, and exceptional cast including star Jon Bernthal, delivered an acclaimed and compelling series for fans, and we are proud to showcase their work on Netflix for years to come. In addition, in reviewing our Marvel programming, we have decided that the upcoming third season will also be the final season for Marvel’s ‘Jessica Jones.’ We are grateful to showrunner Melissa Rosenberg, star Krysten Ritter and the entire cast and crew, for three incredible seasons of this groundbreaking series, which was recognized by the Peabody Awards among many others. We are grateful to Marvel for five years of our fruitful partnership and thank the passionate fans who have followed these series from the beginning.”
