First English trailer for ‘Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV’ shows off star-studded cast

This is the first time we’re seeing an English trailer for the film companion of the upcoming Final Fantasy game. This Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV trailer shows off just how star-studded the English version is. Nyx, a member of the magic-wielding royal guard called Kingsglaive, is played by Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul. The oracle the Kingsglaive has to protect is Lunafreya and she’s played by Game of Thrones’s Lena Heady. And the father of the game’s main character Noctis is played by another Game of Thrones star, Sean Bean.

Kingsglaive will be out in limited theaters in North America on August 19th. It’ll be available for digital download on August 30th and on Blu-Ray and DVD on October 4th. It’s also part of the Deluxe and Ultimate Collector’s Editions of Final Fantasy XV, which is coming on September 30th.

‘Stranger Things’ producers are ready for possible future seasons

If the producers of the new Netflix hit Stranger Things have it their way, they are ready for several more seasons. Netflix hasn’t confirmed a follow-up to the show yet but if online buzz is any indication, then it’ll be a waste if they don’t continue.  Executive producer Shane Levy told /Film, “Things end up being resolved to some extent at the end of Season 1, but not entirely. And that’s why we’re so hopeful we get another few seasons to live with these people a little longer.”

And we’re hoping the same thing too for this sci-fi series that has a Spielberg-esque feel to it mixed in with a bit of John Hughes. It’s created by the Duffer brothers and stars Winona Ryder.

LCBO offers online liquor sale and delivery service

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) announced that it is launching an online e-commerce website where people can purchase nearly 5,000 products and have them shipped to their home or a local LCBO store as part of their commitment to evolve the business and modernize its operations.

In the age of the Uber ride sharing service and Foodora which delivers food from various restaurants to homes and offices, the LCBO is making it easier for Ontarians to order their favourite wines, beers and spirits and have these delivered to their doorstep or at a nearby LCBO location. This move follows in the footsteps of what companies like Amazon have pioneered, giving consumers a wider range of choice and convenience than having to go to crowded LCBO retail outlets.

Moreover, 800 of the products will only be available online from lcbo.com. Delivery through Canada Post will cost $12 per order plus tax, while a $50 minimum applies to online orders shipped to specific LCBO stores. LCBO says they, together with Canada Post,  will ensure that online orders are only handled by and delivered to adults of legal drinking age.
