Apple might not be pushing through with its TV service

We might be getting a new show from Apple but it seems their plans to put up a standalone TV service might be on the backburner at the moment. CNN interviewed CBS CEO Les Moonves recently and he claims their network hasn’t had recent talks with Apple about its TV service. Moonves even said they’ve given Apple a notice about how the “phone is always ringing” as other companies are trying to partner with CBS for a similar streaming service.

Speculation is Apple decided to drop its TV service plans for now because networks like CBS demand too much money. While Apple is keen on keeping its rumoured pricing scheme of around US$30 to $40 and it wants to incorporate all major networks.

Google finally says goodbye to Picasa

But if you're not keen on using Google's photo service, what you can do is still download your albums with its associated tags, captions, and comments. You have until May 1, 2016 to do so. But Google will stop supporting the desktop Picasa app by March 15 already. You'll no longer be able to upload new content to the service, too. With this final nail on Picasa's coffin, maybe it is really time for you to say goodbye to it, too.

It makes sense that you can use your smartphone to navigate a lot of your car's features. It's basically a mobile PC at this point. And that's what Drivemode wanted to demonstrate with their new idea. CNET got to test the app to show it had to offer. Drivemode partnered with Honda for this demo.
