SlideShow: LG Optimus LTE, the superfast Android superphone

The LG Optimus LTE looks very much like the Android superphone to get this year. It features a staggering 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM, a true HD 4.5 inch IPS display and a real big-boy 8 megapixel camera beating out even Samsung's Galaxy Nexus.

Being an LTE device, Bell says it is capable of download speeds of up to 75 Mbps. The only thing it doesn't have is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but we bet it will run that upgrade just fine. Stay tuned for our comprehensive review. This sexy beast will be available from Bell on November 22.

BlackBerry PlayBook on sale, for $300 off on all models

eReaders? Bah, get a real tablet! Like RIM's very own BlackBerry PlayBook now being discounted by $300 by a number of retailers like Best Buy, Future Shop and Staples until the 19th. This means that the 64GB model is now cheaper than what the 16GB model was! THis might make up for the fact the PlayBook still doesn't have an email client or can't send and receive BBM messages.

Video: CEO Mike Serbinis launches Kobo Vox

The Kobo Vox, an Android powered colored eReader with huge tablet aspirations, was officially launched elast night. The device is the first colored offering from Toronto-based Kobo (which recently got acquired for a cool $315 million by Japanese web retailer Rakuten) is geared to compete against the Kindle Fire and the Barnes & Noble Nook Colour which are similar eReader Android tablet hybrid devices.
