SourceCode: Riding the ChromeBook Cloud Part 2

A few weeks ago we embarked on a ambitious journey to use Google's browser-OS powered Chromebook as our main computer. With the Chromebook, specifically Samsungs' Series 5 notebook, we would handle our day to day tasks of blogging, writing articles for various print and web publications, use our social media apps, surf the web, watch videos and listen to music in a purely cloud computing environment. This is how we fared.

Motoring: VW recalls 30000 2011-2012 Jettas for extra long tailights

Das ist Hot! Volkswagen will recall 30,294 of its 2011-2012 model year Jetta sedans for possible tailpipe finishers that extend beyond the vehicle's rear bumper and may prove dangerous.

According to VW, certain Jettas with stainless steel exhaust tips sold at the point-of-purchase and installed at port during importation may extend beyond the original length of the factory-installed exhaust pipes, a situation that could result in burns if bumped or touched while hot.

Brand Finance: Beleaguered BlackBerry Brand loses $1 Billion in value

The latest analysis from Brand Finance plc. demonstrates that most leading Canadian brands are continuing to recover from the recession, with sustained increases in brand value since January. The combined value of the top 10 Canadian brands has now reached $47.3bn. However this is still a billion dollars less than the value of the world's most valuable brand, Google ($48.3bn).
