Apple's HomeView is a Siri AI-powered smart display

Apple just announced its first smart home display, the Apple HomeView. This device features a 7-inch Liquid Retina display and integrated Siri AI. Designed for central home management, entertainment, and communication, the device recognizes individual users by face to personalize access to Messages, Calendar, and other personal apps.

Powered by Apple Silicon and Apple Intelligence, HomeView uses on-device processing and Private Cloud Compute to secure user data. The device features an acoustic system with spatial audio capabilities, adaptive display technology, and compatibility with Matter and works with Apple Home accessories.

Pre-orders begin today, with official availability starting November 13. HomeView and a separate wall-mounted edition will both start at CA$429 in Canada. The HomeView comes in silver, starlight, rose pink, and space grey, each finished with a matching cable. Meanwhile, the wall-mounted version comes in space grey and silver.
