'Sekiro' GOTY Edition gets teased in new trailer

 

FromSoftware wants to celebrate the success of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice with the release of a Game of the Year Edition. A new trailer teases what you'll get when the free update rolls out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There will be boss challenge modes and new skins to unlock. There will also be player recordings, a.k.a. ghosts, to show you how well you're playing and whether it's possible to move even faster. If you're a fan of the game and want to test your skill further, this feature might be the biggest draw for you. The update is dropping just ahead of Sekiro's Google Stadia release on October 28 at 1 p.m. Eastern.

Stitcher cleans up app, introduces redesign

Stitcher has some catching up to do with services like Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Its new look might help with that. The podcast app revamps its web and mobile apps, promising better user control and navigation. The public beta for the redesigned app is out now, with plans to roll it out more broadly in the future.

You can now organize shows into custom categories and view recent and unfinished episodes, your downloads, and favourite podcasts in the My Podcasts section. With filters, you can opt to see episodes you've only downloaded, unplayed or liked episodes, or sort them by date. The app even lets you view podcasts by episode length.

Stitcher also brings the ability to download episodes from the shows you want automatically and pick how many you'll keep on your device at a given time. The app gets a slider control for playback speed. Stitcher also improved its Alexa and Sonos integrations t.

EA pushes back Switch release of 'Apex Legends' to 2021

Nintendo Switch users who are also fans of Apex Legends will have to wait for the game to come out. EA and Respawn announced the release would be pushed back to sometime in 2021. According to game director Chad Grenier, the companies need more time to make sure the game runs as they want it before bringing it to the portable platform.
