Sony Xperia 1 VII set to launch soon

Sony Xperia 1 VII is coming ahead of its new wireless headphones launch. Sony is launching its smartphone on May 13 at 11 am Japan time or May 12 at 10 pm EDT. The company will stream the event on YouTube, if you want to check it out.
Looks-wise, don't expect it to look too different from its predecessor. The Sony Xperia 1 VII is rumoured to feature the same look and same 6.5-inch display as its predecessor, but with a shorter, wider, and thicker body. It's expected to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with 12GB of RAM and Android 15 out of the box. The phone is anticipated to launch in Japan first and arrive around July internationally.
Samsung set to launch Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13

Samsung is finally ready to unveil its first Galaxy Edge device since the Galaxy S7 Edge in 2016. The company is hosting an online event for the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13 at 9 am KST or May 12 8 pm EDT.
The tech giant teased this phone earlier in the year when it launched the rest of the Galaxy S25 series. This is expected to be the slimmest phone of the series, and it packs in the same 200-megapixel main lens as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. But Samsung has kept everything else under wraps. At least, we only have a few more days to wait to hear more about it.
