Garmin Lily 2: A smarter, sleeker smartwatch made for smaller wrists

Garmin also unveiled the Lily 2 at CES 2024. This US$249.99 (around CA$335) hybrid smartwatch is an upgrade to its petite Lily hybrid analog smartwatch. The Lily 2 retains the original design but adds sleep scores, dance fitness activities, and Garmin Pay.

The Lily smartwatch debuted in 2021 as a women-focused watch with a hidden OLED display and patterned lenses. It also had the smallest case size for a smartwatch at 34mm. However, it compromised on interface, features, and battery life.

Garmin HRM-Fit: A comfortable heart rate monitor for sports bra wearers

Garmin introduces a new heart rate monitor that will help those who wear sports bras have an easier time tracking their health data. The company introduced the HRM-Fit at CES 2024, a new clip-on heart rate monitor that works with medium- to high-support bras.

Traditional chest strap heart rate monitors aren't the most comfortable to wear, so attaching a heart rate monitor to a sports bra brings that bit of comfort.

Xgimi Horizon Max: A bright and smart 4K projector with IMAX Enhanced

Xgimi has launched two new projectors for the US market: the 4K Horizon Max and the Aladdin, which we talked about here. The Horizon Max is Xgimi’s brightest 4K smart projector ever, with 3,100 ISO lumens from its hybrid light source. However, Xgimi has a history of exaggerating its brightness ratings, as revealed by a lawsuit from Epson. So, you may want to take it with a grain of salt.

Other specs Xgimi talked about the Horizon Max include a high contrast ratio (2000:1) and DTS audio. That allows this projector to receive an IMAX Enhanced certification. That certification lets it play enhanced content from streaming services like Disney+.
