Apple Music brings lossless streaming, Spatial Audio support with Dolby Atmos

After all the rumours, Apple has officially announced its Music streaming service will bring a lossless music quality option to its entire catalogue beginning next month. You won't need to pay extra to get the feature. 

You have to opt-in to access the lossless mode. Head to Settings > Music > Audio Quality and then select Lossless or Hi-Resolution Lossless.

Apple promises "One more thing." on Nov. 10 streaming event

Apple is reaching deep into its folklore and invoking founder Steve Jobs' iconic "One more thing." line for the invitation of their November 10 Apple Event. One more thing is not to be taken lightly, it is the mic-drop statement used by Jobs during various events to introduce revolutionary new products. Past one more things include such blockbuster products as Airport wireless hub, PowerBooks, iPod and iPod Touch, and, most recently, the iPhone X received the One more thing treatment by Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Broadcom CEO suggests delay of 2020 Apple iPhone launch

Apple parts supplier Broadcom claims the company will be releasing the 2020 iPhone a bit later than usual. According to comments from Broadcom CEO Hock Tan during the company's recent quarterly earnings call, the next-generation iPhone's release will be pushed back by a few weeks. Apple hasn't released any statements yet regarding this possible delay.

Apple's World Wide Developer's Conference will take place as an Online Event on June 22

With standing shelter-in-place (SIP) and lockdown initiatives in place to keep people safe and flatten the curve during this COVID-19 pandemic, many of the major product launches and massive developer events have either been cancelled, postponed, or moved online in some form or another. Apple's World Wide Developer's Conference, which Canadian Reviewer has covered live various times in the past, will be reimagined as an online-only event to faciliate remote meeting protocols and keep developers and Apple employees safe. 

Apple today announced it will host its annual Worldwide Developers Conference virtually, beginning June 22, in the Apple Developer app and on the Apple Developer website for free for all developers. This makes WWDC, which previously used a lottery system to limit the number of attendees, a lot more inclusive.
