Google announces $1299.00 Chromebook Pixel

Google has created a the ultimate premium Chromebook cloud notebook with an impressive 12.85 inch high-density 2560×1700 screen with 4.3 million pixels, more than a Retina Display. This new Chromebook is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor and a comes with 1 terabyte of free storage on Google Drive for three years. Google to open its own Retail Stores by end of 2013

In an inevitable move, search giant Google has indicated its desire to enter into the commercial retail store space by opening its first store in the UK last year.

A move that many see as the beginning of a series of Google Store openings in the US and Europe. A lot has changed in the past few years and Google now sells a variety of devices such as its Nexus smartphones and tablets, various Chromebook models and even the Chromebox PC and even Nexus Q audio devices. Google is also working on its smart glasses initiative. 9to5Google explains that Google will open a series of stores by the end of 2013 (it is already testing the concept in a fee UK locations called Chromezone stores).

Videotron to begin offering Google's Nexus 4 smartphone starting tomorrow

The Nexus 4, which went on sale for a few hours and was never seen or heard from again, will be carried by Videotron starting tomorrow. The release from Videotron states, "Videotron's handset lineup is expanding again! As of tomorrow, Videotron customers will be able to pick up the eagerly awaited Nexus 4 from Google, powered by the brand-new Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and featuring cutting-edge specs. It will be offered starting at $149.95 for a 36-month contract. Way to go Videotron!

First Impressions of Google's ARM Chromebook

Google's first ARM powered Chromebook, made by Samsung, is an intriguing new take at the personal cloud-connected notebook. Selling for $249 and available only in the US through online resellers like Amazon.com, Google says this is the Chromebook for everyone. Here  are my first impressions.
