The best technology should be invisible, users needn't spend an inordinate amount of time setting up and most specially--troubleshooting devices or software to get it to work. It should just work and this has been the blueprint of Apple's iCloud ecosystem.

Apple's iPhone still no.1 in U.S. customer satisfaction

The iPhone 5 has been faced with increasing competition since it was launched in September last year. Apple's flagship smartphone has been around for roughly six months and still leads the pack in sales while maintaining a solid feature set and unbeatable app ecosystem. Customer satisfaction is another area where the iPhone rules as per a U.S. smartphone satisfaction survey by J.D. Power and Associates. Hit jump for the full results of the study.

Apple releases iOS 6.1.3 update, patches lock screen security exploit

Apple has finally addressed the widely reported lock screen security exploit that allowed some iOS devices to be bypassed. With iOS 6.1.3 now available via Software Update on your iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices, the update also improves some Maps functionality for Japan and various security patches aimed at making your iOS device safer.

TomTom updates its navigation app for iPhone, iPad and iPad mini

TomTom launched the latest version of its navigation app for iPhone, iPad and iPad mini. With the update, customers can now save their personal app data – such as recent destinations and favourite POIs – in the cloud. This means that when they update their TomTom app in the future, they won’t lose any of their settings.
