Excitement is building for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, expected to launch this summer. While a recent leak suggests no battery capacity increase, improved efficiency might still deliver better battery life.

Reliable leaker Ice Universe claims Samsung will retain the 4,400mAh battery from the Z Fold3, 4, and 5. This is a slight downgrade from the Z Fold2's 4,500mAh battery.

Samsung folds the price with potential US$800 Galaxy Z Fold6

Foldables have traditionally been premium devices, but Samsung is shaking things up with rumours of a budget-friendly Galaxy Z Fold 6 variant launching later this year.

According to a Korean report, Samsung is targeting a shockingly low price of around US$800 (around CA$1,084) for this model. That's a significant drop from the current Fold's CA$2,399 price tag and even undercuts the Galaxy Z Flip series' CA$1,299 cost.
