Another leaked render shows off possible triple-lens setup for the 2019 iPhone

We’ve already seen one interpretation of the triple-lens setup for the next iPhone. Now, Steve Hemmerstoffer (a.k.a. OnLeaks) is back to share another one. He teamed up again with Indian site CompareRaja to show one with a horizontal setup. It has the three lenses in the middle with the flash located somewhere between the lenses. It has this sort of cyclops feel to it. In front, there seems to be a slimmed down notch that houses the front-facing camera and TrueDepth system. You get a mic at the bottom with the volume buttons on the left and power button to the right. Hemmerstoffer and CompareRaja claim these are “100% legit prototypes” but that the phones are still in the EVT stage or Engineering Validation Test with Apple still deciding on the design.

According to current rumours, only the next-gen replacement of the iPhone XS Max will be getting the triple-camera setup, while the XS and XR will retain a dual-lens setup. For now, we haven’t heard much about these claims of a triple camera setup, but you’ll definitely hear more from us whether or not this plan does happen.

Samsung’s 5G phone will reportedly be called Galaxy S10 X

And it’ll be one more device Samsung is set to launch in San Francisco on February 20. According to Korean publication ETNews, this first 5G-enabled phone will be called the Galaxy S10 X to mark the 10th anniversary of the line as well as it standing for the words “experience” and “expand.” It’s going to be a sizable phone with some mean specs, at least according to rumours. It’ll reportedly have a 6.7-inch display with an in-display fingerprint reader, four cameras at the back, two in the front, and a big 5,000mAh battery. Memory configuration is supposed to be “more than” 10GB of RAM and 1TB storage (but as GSMArena points out, the latter could mean a 512GB internal + 512GB microSD configuration). If this report is to be believed, we’ll find out more when the phone launches next month.

Leak shares possible screen sizes of the upcoming Huawei P30 series

We already know Huawei is set to release its P30 series soon. While we don’t have an exact date yet, we know what the phones’ screens might look like. Slash Leaks obtained a photo of the supposed screen protectors for the P30, P30 Pro, and P30 Lite. The P30 Pro will reportedly have a 6.4-inch QHD+ display and have an in-display fingerprint reader. Meanwhile, the P30 and P30 Lite both get 6-inch FHD+ displays. But the P30 also gets an in-display fingerprint reader, while the P30 Lite has a rear fingerprint scanner. All three will reportedly get the waterdrop notch display. We don’t know if this means 3D face scanning will be less sophisticated this time around than the one introduced in the Mate 20 Pro. For now, these are still rumours and we’d only find out which ones are real when Huawei officially launches the phone.

Leak shows off the hole-punch display on the rumoured Galaxy S10

Serial gadget leaker Evan Blass took to Twitter again to share a look of the rumoured Galaxy S10. The phone features a camera cutout at the top-right corner of the screen with extremely thin bezels to the side, the bottom gets a slightly thicker chin than the rest of the phone. This “Infinity-O display” design was first seen in the Galaxy A8s, which Samsung revealed a few weeks back. It’s the first time Samsung has put any kind of interruption on the screen as the company has managed to stay notch-free for its flagships. Blass claims this is what the standard S10 is going to look like. He also mentions that this phone will be able to wirelessly charge other phones and watches, similar to what the Huawei Mate 20 Pro can do. Four Galaxy S10 models are expected to arrive at the end of February (when Samsung usually launches its S line of phones)—there’s supposedly going to be a Lite model, a Plus model, and a 5G one.
