Icy conditions tested with Merrell's latest Vibram Arctic Grip technology

It was clearly one of the hottest days we've experienced in the Toronto for a long time on the day I was scheduled to test out Merrell's new line of winter boots with Vibram Arctic Grip technology. The new footwear collection was created for the most extreme winter conditions, providing traction and stability on icy surfaces. This new technology is considered the most advanced cold-weather gripping system Vibram has ever created and claims three times more grip even on wet ice.

Jeopardy's most controversial winner in Hotdocs17 film 'Who is Arthur Chu?' 

He was considered the most hated contestant in one of America's most popular game shows. Arthur Chu gained international attention as the most controversial winner of Jeopardy. He was champion 11 times actually but it's not that he cheated. He was strategic on how he played the game.

Some, actually many, were appauled that he played against the etiquette of the game. His strategy was to bounce around the board in search of daily-doubles and had an aggressiveness to his method of play. He left with nearly $300,000 in winnings but also became the target of haters online. But what happened when he finally lost?

SickKids Hospital highlights strength in Moms in latest campaign

The Hospital for Sick Children (aka SickKids) in Toronto is somewhere you don't want to visit unless you need to...but also find comfort in knowing it's there. I've had my fair share of visits filled with worry, sleepless nights and raging tears...as a child, mom, friend, and volunteer. But each time I am eternally grateful with the compassion, care, and patience of doctors, nurses, and staff, as well as the state of the art facilities.This world-renowned hospital is a very special place. 

As Mother's Day approaches, SickKids has launched a new SickKids VS campaign (created by Cossette Canada) to honour moms. The concept called "Breakdown" continues to feature the fierceness of their patience, families and staff.
