Parents can soon block specific shows or movies on Netflix

Netflix just announced new features that will make it easier for parents to monitor and control what their kids watch on the streaming service. At the moment, you can already put a PIN code on shows and movies that are over a particular maturity level or you can mark certain accounts as belonging to a child. But soon Netflix will let you put a PIN behind certain shows or movies to stop them from watching specific titles. On top of this, maturity level ratings are going to be displayed more prominently on the screen when a new title plays. The feature is rolling out in the coming months and the streaming service plans to look into how it can make maturity level ratings more descriptive and easier to understand.

‘Black Mirror’ is coming back for Season 5

The Netflix anthology series just released its fourth season late in 2017 but is now ready to tackle a new season. Netflix just announced that Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror is coming back for a fifth season. When that is or how many episodes we don’t know just yet. The teaser released on social media for the announcement showing different critically praised episodes of the series and ended it with a reference to season two’s “Be Right Back” episode with Hayley Atwell and Domhnall Gleeson. It also played the show’s recognizable tune and as The Hollywood Reporter points out a big Easter egg for season four’s “Black Museum,” which has references to nearly all the episodes of the show.

Apple rumoured to be releasing a cheaper MacBook Air later in 2018

There hasn’t been much innovation in the realm of MacBook Air in recent years. But at least in terms of price, Apple reportedly has something up its sleeve, at least if we are to believe the rumours. According to Apple analyst KGI Securities, a cheaper version of the ultra-thin MacBook will be headed our way in the second quarter of the year. There will supposedly be a 13-inch MacBook Air “with a lower price tag,” which is expected to help boost laptop sales for the company. At the moment, the current generation of the MacBook Air’s retail price starts at $1,199.

Disney is being accused of plagiarizing the ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ poster design

Unless you’re living under a rock, you’ve probably seen the Solo: A Star Wars Story movie posters. And now one French artist claims Disney plagiarized his work. Hachim Bahous designed a series of album covers for Sony Music France and he says this became the template that Disney followed to create the posters for Solo. He posted the two designs side by side on his Facebook saying (originally in French): “I am flattered that the quality of my work is recognized, but it is still pure and simple forgery, I have not be asked for my permission, I wish to be credited and paid for this work I have done for Sony!”
