Apple overhauled its operating systems and one of the newest changes is the naming convention for them. Instead of sticking with using the version number, the numbers will reflect the year when the OS was released. The change will be coming to all of its software, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS.

Apple's created an answer to Google's Circle to Search with a new update to its Visual Intelligence feature for iOS 26. You can now take a screenshot and use Apple Intelligence to do things like ask ChatGPT for more information, add it to your calendar or look for a product on one of your apps. The feature will be accessible on the same screen where you edit or share a screenshot with various generative AI feature options at the button.

Apple's long-rumoured homeOS operating system might finally be launching, at least according to the trademark activity spotted by MacRumors.
The news site reports that an apparent shell company, Home Operations Suite LLC, has submitted trademark applications for "HOMEOS" in several countries over the past few months, including Liechtenstein, the US, Argentina, and Peru. The trademark is now registered in Liechtenstein, but the applications are still pending elsewhere.
