Sony delays release of 'The Last of Us Part II' to May 2020

Just a month after Sony-owned developer Naughty Dog announced that The Last of Us Part II was set to get a February 21 release date, the developer relays some bad news. In a post on the PlayStation Blog, the game's creative director Neil Druckmann said the PS4-exclusive game will be delayed until May 29, 2020.

Druckmann explained, "However, it was during the last few weeks, as we were closing out sections of the game, that we realized we simply didn't have enough time to bring the entire game up to a level of polish we would call Naughty Dog quality. At this point, we were faced with two options: compromise parts of the game or get more time. We went with the latter, and this new release date allows us to finish everything to our level of satisfaction while also reducing stress on the team." So, for anyone excited for the game to come out, you'll just have to wait a bit longer.

Facebook tries out new search interface on Android

Facebook for Android users in Canada might be seeing a new search interface show up on their apps. The interface shows you topics it thinks you might be interested in along with links and posts related to them. So, for example, you like music, it'll surface content related to the topic. Think of it as something similar to Instagram's search page where you're shown photos from topics you might be interested in. The test is being conducted here, in South Africa, and in the Philippines. There is no word yet if it will be getting a wider release, or if the testing extends to iOS. But the renders Facebook sent to MobileSyrup show the interface on an iPhone.
