'Yakuza Kiwami' to make its long-awaited debut on the Nintendo Switch

The long wait is over! Yakuza Kiwami is finally making its way to the Nintendo Switch eight years after it first came out on the PlayStation 3 and 4 in 2016. Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the original 2005 PlayStation 2 title Yakuza. The game was developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega.

Set in Kamurocho, it follows the story of Kazuma Kiryu. A member of the Tojo Clan, he takes the blame for his boss' murder. After a decade in prison, he returns to find his clan in trouble. Yakuza Kiwami is the first (and so far) only Yakuza / Like a Dragon game coming to the Nintendo Switch. It'll be available starting October 24, 2024.
