New Google Now card to help remind you to pay your bills

It would seem Google is rolling out a new feature for Google Now. Android Police reports a new card has surfaced that shows billing reminders based on your emails. The card shows basic information on your accounts, how much you owe and when the payment is due. The update doesn’t seem to be completely rolled out yet but it should come your way soon. You can check if you have the update by heading to the “Everything Else” section of the app.

Vertu tipped to release a high-end smartphone that matches internals with steep price

Vertu has long brought ridiculously expensive smartphones to the market. But these devices don’t usually carry hardware specifications to match its price. That might change soon though if the report from Ubergizmo will be believed. An AnTuTu entry of a supposedly upcoming Vertu phone called ‘Signature Touch’ (RM-960V) has showed up. It will reportedly have a 1080x1920 pixel display (no screen size yet, run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and a 13-megapixel rear camera. Until we find out more about this device though, you will have to take this rumour with a grain of salt.

Google hires fashion exec to help market Glass

Google wants to change the public’s perception of Glass with its new hire. The tech company is bringing onboard Ivy Ross, a design and marketing lead who has done work for Calvin Klein, Gap, Coach, Swatch, etc. She will be in charge of altering the way people perceive Glass. Google aims to market the wearable device as more than a new gadget for technology fans. They want the public to see it as a fashionable piece as well. Let’s see what Ross can do to help change people’s minds.
