Samsung Canada launches direct-to-consumer Annual Upgrade Program

Source: Samsung

Samsung Canada officially launched its Annual Upgrade Program, a new nationwide initiative designed to give Galaxy users a flexible, carrier-free way to access its latest technology. By partnering with Flexiti, Samsung now offers customers the ability to bypass traditional long-term contracts and purchase devices directly through Samsung.com, the Samsung Shop app, or Samsung Experience Stores. The program focuses on affordability, allowing users to pay only a portion of their device's value through interest-free monthly installments while maintaining the freedom to choose their own data plans.

The program offers two flexible options: a 12-month plan where customers pay 50% of the device cost (including a bonus year of Samsung Care+), and a 24-month plan covering 65% of the cost. At the end of the term, users have the choice to either trade in their device for the newest model, return it to clear the remaining balance, or pay the residual value to keep it. The program is currently available for the Galaxy S26 series and the latest Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 foldables. For more information, you can check out this post on Samsung's official site.

The certification applies to devices running iOS 26 and iPadOS 26, officially placing them on the NATO Information Assurance Product Catalogue.
