Beatbot's AI-powered AquaSense 2 pool cleaners now available

Beatbot unveiled its AquaSense 2 series robotic pool cleaners at CES 2025, and the innovative devices are available for purchase starting today. The series features three models, starting at US$1,499 (around CA$2,142), designed for above-ground and in-ground pools up to 300 square meters. Each model boasts an array of sensors for comprehensive pool cleaning.

The top-of-the-line AquaSense 2 Ultra, priced at $3,450 (~CA$4,930), features HybridSense AI Pool Mapping. This advanced system uses 27 sensors to meticulously clean the pool surface, waterline, floor, and walls. The Ultra also performs clarification tasks and includes dual side brushes for increased cleaning coverage.

Apple still pursuing standalone AR glasses

Nissan to reportedly reject Honda's merger terms

A proposed merger between Nissan and Honda is on the brink of collapse after Nissan supposedly rejected Honda's latest proposal. The initial plan, announced in December, envisioned a combined holding company structure. However, Honda reportedly recently proposed making Nissan a subsidiary, a move deemed unacceptable by Nissan's board.

While both companies claim discussions are continuing, and a decision is expected by mid-February, the rumoured disagreement casts serious doubt on the deal's future. A combined entity would create the world's third-largest automaker, making the potential failure a major setback.
