Fujifilm introduces redesigned Instax Pal 2 digital camera

While still retaining its compact size, the new Fujifilm Instax Pal 2 gets a fresh, analog-inspired look. It now looks like a squished Fujifilm camera, with a built-in optical viewfinder, shutter release, and top screen to help you frame photos and view what you've taken. It still has some fun filter effects, but it adds a new Animation shooting mode that can capture 10 frames and turn these into a flipbook-style animation.

The Instax Pal 2 is still a digital camera that doesn't directly capture instant analog photos. You can store some of your shots on the camera, as it comes with a microSD card slot. It also still works with Fujifilm's Instax Pal app, which you can use as a remote shutter release if you have it on a tripod. The app also lets you transfer photos to your phone so you can connect to Instax's wireless printers. You can even select between Instax Mini, Instax Square, or Instax Wide instant film and frameless formats and edit your pictures to add filters, text and stickers. Fujifilm's Instax Pal 2 comes in black and white and retails for $219.99 in Canada.

Meet the iPhone Duo: Apple's first foldable

Apple's first foldable phone is official. Instead of having a "fold"-related name, Apple opted to call it the iPhone Duo. The company claims it is its thinnest iPhone when unfolded, with a 7.6-inch inner display that is 50% larger than the iPhone 18 Pro Max and a 5.4-inch outer screen that has 90% of the iPhone 18 Pro's screen. Both screens have the same aspect ratio, so content scales proportionally to maintain visual continuity.

This foldable is built with grade 5 titanium and protected by Ceramic Shield on the back and Ceramic Shield 2 on the front, featuring "3x better" scratch resistance, and has a splash-, water-, and dust-resistant IP68 rating. The inner display has a scratch-resistant coating and a nano-texture finish that creates a seemingly flat matte surface that reduces crease visibility.
