Philips Hue boosts Secure camera features

Philips Hue released a new firmware update (version 1.2.32.976110) for its Secure cameras, offering improvements to its setup process, video uploads, battery performance, and more.

The Philips Hue app now displays more accurate Wi-Fi router names, while the passive infrared sensor cooldown settings are more user-friendly. The system will also no longer upload very short clips, and the general upload success rate is improved, too.

Philips Hue also enhanced the battery performance of battery-powered cameras like the Secure Battery. It cuts "unnecessary" wakeups, optimizes motion snooze settings, fixes unreachable devices and sleep mode issues, and improves the precision of automatic switching between day and night modes.
