Apple iPad mini gets more power and AI

Apple is bringing its smallest tablet into the Apple Intelligence era. The company announced the new Apple iPad mini via a press release, which isn't surprising given it's mostly a spec bump. However, it is the tablet's first upgrade since 2021.

The Apple iPad mini now runs on the new A17 Pro processor, offering 30 percent faster CPU, 25 percent faster GPU, and a Neural Engine that's twice as fast as its predecessor. It also supports the new Apple Pencil Pro and gets a storage bump from 64GB to 128GB for the base model. (The AI models will need all the extra space they can get). It also now has a faster Wi-Fi 6E processor and a USB-C port.

Google reveals top Halloween trends

We honestly are not surprised that Raygun - the most criticized and dragged through the mud Australian Olympic breakdance competitor made the list. Deadpool is still making the list and Sabrina Carpenter? Taylor Swift?

Apple rumoured to work on Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses competitor

Apple isn't throwing in the towel on its "vision-based" products. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports in his Power On newsletter that the company is supposedly working on a pair of smart glasses similar to the Ray-Ban Meta glasses. They are also supposedly working on equipping AirPods with cameras. However, the earliest we could potentially see these products is at least 2027 (if we see them become products at all).

iPhone SE 4 case leak hints at design change

It's been a while since Apple updated its "Special Edition" budget phone. However, the recent leaks indicate we might see the iPhone SE 4 launch in 2025. Sonny Dickson shared on X a photo of an alleged case of the iPhone SE 4. It doesn't show the device, but it offers clues on what to expect.

It shows a flat back panel with a rear camera cutout that looks slightly larger than the iPhone SE 3, hinting the iPhone SE 4 might pack two cameras (a first for the series).
